Please review the instructions below before submitting your application. They outline the eligibility requirements for the San Antonio Education Partnership (SAEP) Scholarship, along with important dates to keep in mind.

Complete Eligibility Requirements: September 2025 – May 31, 2026
Eligibility Notification: August 2026
Scholarship Activation: After your college’s census date

All applicants must be in their senior year of high school and be currently enrolled at a SAEP partner high school.

APPLICANT STEPS

Complete the SAEP Scholarship Application.
Attend two SAEP College Preparation Activities by May 31, 2026.
Attend the SAEP Activation Seminar by May 31, 2026.
Submit a copy of the FAFSA Submission Summary or TASFA application in order to demonstrate financial need. Student Aid Index should be below or equal to 30000.
Complete the "Next Steps" questionnaire by May 31, 2026
Final high school transcript should reflect a GPA of 80 or above.
Graduate from a SAEP partner high school.

Once an application is submitted the applicant will be contacted by their assigned SAEP Advisor. The advisor will contact the applicant to provide an overview of the remaining steps to complete the San Antonio Education Partnership Scholarship.

SCHOLARSHIP CANDIDATE STEPS

To be awarded, applicants must activate the SAEP Scholarship by completing the following:

Complete SAEP Enrollment Survey
Enroll in a SAEP participating college/university.
Enroll in Fall 2026 as a full-time student (12+ hours)
Be enrolled in consecutive semesters (no gap year).

The SAEP Scholarship will be processed at the institution census date of the semester for which the student is eligible. The SAEP Scholarship will be renewed each semester, as long as all eligibility requirements are met for a total of eight semesters or five years, whichever occurs first.

AUTHORIZATION and EDUCATIONAL RELEASE: Please check each statement:

I authorize the release of my high school transcript, attendance records, college entry and enrollment, financial aid award, and other school information requested by San Antonio Education Partnership to determine scholarship eligibility.

I authorize San Antonio Education Partnership to have access to my academic and enrollment information at any college/university I attend in their effort to assist with the successful completion of my postsecondary education: semester(s) enrolled, financial aid status, degree(s) earned, and graduation/transfer date(s).
